Drone Hero Europe

What happens next?

Now that all the submissions are known and validated there will be two separate tracks leading up to the contest award shows on June 21st and June 22nd.

The first track, the Public Award, is the easiest: get as many votes as you can before noon on June 22nd. The mission is quite straightforward for all involved. They will mobilize their networks, get family, friends and business partners to cast their votes on their drone-video. To vote, go to this page: https://www.dronecommunity.eu/drone-hero-europe/candidates-vote/.

The second track, the other five awards, is where our esteemed jury comes into play. They will assess every video and divide them according to the potential they have in each of the categories. This will result in a top-3 per juror per category: innovative, creative, start-up, international, high-potential.

On June 6th, we will announce 2 nominees per category who will then pitch their innovation in Brussels. No contestant can win in two categories (except the Public Hero), so come June 22nd we will be proud to announce 5-6 new European Drone Heroes!

Jan JambonExciting times! Jan Jambon, Deputy Prime Minister of Belgium will be awarding the Drone Hero Europe Awards.

So, where does it all take place? The award ceremonies and the pitches will be held on June 21st and June 22nd in Brussels at the Commercial UAV Expo Europe. If you’re interested to attend and be a part of Drone Hero Europe history, just register to attend here.

We are also very proud to be able to announce that Jan Jambon will be awarding the European Drone Heroes. Jambon is the Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Security and the Interior of Belgium. He will talk briefly about the threats and opportunities of drone in security whilst honoring the winning drone companies.
